Privacy Policy — Dafter

Dafter is a point-of-sale and inventory app for phone and electronics shops. This explains what data the app processes and how it is protected.

Data we process

• Staff accounts: username, role, and password (hashed — never stored as plain text).
• Customer & supplier details: name and phone number, as entered by the shop.
• Identity photos: when buying a used device, the shop may attach a photo of the seller's ID for verification.
• Inventory & sales records: devices, serial/IMEI numbers, invoices, expenses, and the shop's cash movements.

How data is used

• Only to operate the app: recording sales, managing stock and customers, and producing the shop's reports.
• Stored on the shop's own Al Khalifa Tech server; each shop has an isolated database.
• No advertising — the app contains no ads.

Sharing

We do not sell or share your data with any third party. The app contains no third-party trackers, analytics, or ad SDKs.

Security

• All traffic is encrypted in transit over HTTPS/TLS.
• Passwords are hashed; sessions use revocable tokens.
• Biometric unlock, if used, stays on the device and is never sent to the server.

Retention & deletion

Shop data is kept while the account is active. A shop owner can request export or deletion by emailing us below.
